An ascended master, an avdhut, a mystic of a very high spiritual order, Shree Shree Babaji is a master of ancient wisdom, high-vibrational, enlightened being of love and light.
A seer, an avdhut, a reincarnate of the Dattatreya lineage, he is a spiritual guide of the modern world, not bound by dogmas, ritualistic practices and religion. He is a mystic who has attained very high order of spiritual development, spiritually being guided by the ascended masters. He preaches universal brotherhood.
Babaji is a liberal force that helps people to secure self-reliance and promote change.
He is the founder of a spiritual lineage that holds within it the intense power of the mystical world as well as the gentle nurturing flow of an avdhut. His mission is to set man free, by not merely impacting but by gradual transformation.
The principal idea behind all his actions is, ‘give, not because you have enough, but you know how it feels to have nothing’. The organisation helps disadvantaged individuals and families, focusing on creating a sustainable future for the community. Its prime work is to restore human dignity.
For Babaji food is at the core of sustenance of the soul. He, through organisations he founded and mentored, feeds thousands of people, in various cities across the country, everyday.
He has touched the lives of thousands of families. His presence dispels darkness, sorrow and misery and brings love, light and grace in the lives around him.
His religion is service, his faith is love. His life being his message.
He lives to bring love and service to those in pain and suffering. To a world beset with doubt, he brings a clarity that resonates deeply with the voice of ancient masters. “Give me your faith, I will make you experience joy”.
He has transformed many lives. "If you spread your arms with love and devotion, I shall be with you at any time of the day and night. Though I am here physically yet I know what you want. When you have faith in me I sit in your heart and seated in your heart, I become your inner self ". A promise to his followers is the commitment to the almighty God. "Where ever you go my arrangements shall be there before you".
For Babaji, empowerment is an internal process. When there is contentment in peoples' lives, only then can they can facilitate change from within and help change lives. Serving others is an action to that reaction. Through the foundation’s projects, thousands are being fed daily, lesser privileged children and street kids are being taken care. His vision Live to Give (Live2Give) is our dream in action.
Actions speak louder than words. He emphasizes watchful, silent action as a constant, life-long meditation to bring about purity and burn away negative propensities. Beyond sermons and teachings, and transcending the barriers of all religions, his message remains of love and service – Sarvatma Seva.

Cooking food is cooking food, no ritual. Just cooking.
Thousands of hungry people are fed from the foundation's free kitchens, every single day. Volunteering in the cooking, serving and cleaning process is a form of active spiritual practice, the practice of service, the practice of seva.
Service asks no religious affiliation of its recipients - man, woman, colour, caste, community. People are fed here regardless of how they fit into any of those classifications. This spirit of inclusion and equality is reinforced by the kitchen's adherence sarvatma seva sankalp (pledge to serve all souls). Our mission is to feed one lakh people daily.
Food is provided from the community, for the community. Anyone who is hungry or wants to learn about hunger can eat in the langars. Daily meals served through the “food for soul” program. Cooked food is provided, through multiple centres, in India 365 days.
The free food initiative is fostered by The Foundation, an interfaith caring organization, that assists and supports people in need through service of volunteer partnerships, congregations, individuals and community coalitions, and are guided by the following principles:

Khidmat is a Hindustani word.
A product of Ganga–Jamuni tehzeeb with roots in cultural syncretism. It is based on the premise of vasudhaiva kutumbakam (world is one family), unity in diversity and multi-communitarianism (individuals can practice more than one religious tradition).
In English it is 'service', in Hindi it is 'seva'. The use of Hindustani as a language is visible in the works of Amir Khusro and Munshi Premchand.
Since the organisation is committed to the pledge of Sarvatma Seva Sankalp, hence Khidmat is most appropriate and beautiful.
